Driven by curiosity crcrcr focuses on the process of painting rather than working towards a predefined objective. He explores the relationships between different layers of paint in the tension between the constituent elements that define a painting: paint, support, media etc. His work has a minimalist aesthetic and consists mainly of acrylics applied directly onto raw, unprimed linen or cotton.
